How does 3D vision measurement work?

Special polarized glasses
3D vision measurements are performed using special polarizing lenses in the eyeglass frame or using a phoropter and polarizing filters. The foropter ensures a very fast and accurate lens change in front of your eyes and in some cases replaces the test frame.

Spatial object
A spatial object, most often a landscape, is depicted in the background, which naturally evokes the sensation of looking into the distance. Through the polarizing filters, both eyes simultaneously view the entire surface of the test LCD monitor.

Changing tests and characters
Subsequently, different types of signs and tests are projected. Throughout the examination, the brain is forced to combine the images of the two eyes into one, which is natural and results in more comfortable vision.

Measured values
The resulting image is formed as a whole, which is perceived by both eyes. The measured values together with the results from the eye screening allow you to choose the best solution for your eyes.

Can I book my child in for a sight test?
Only an ophthalmologist is allowed to perform eye examinations on children under 15 years of age in the Czech Republic. In the eye studio we measure the eyesight of children from 15 years of age.
When should I see an eye doctor?
See an eye doctor for an eye exam if you have a sudden change in vision, eye injuries, eyelids that are stuck together and swollen eyes. The doctor also diagnoses and treats eye diseases.
Is the eye examination covered by health insurance?
Our opticians are registered in the National Register of Health Service Providers. We are a private facility and our eye examinations are not covered by health insurance. Complete price list of eye examinations.
