Even children can wear contact lenses happily
For the youngest children, it is the parent who puts the contact lenses on and takes them off. Schoolchildren are already able to do this on their own, however, even for teenagers, check the care and hygiene while wearing lenses.

Vision tests for children under 15 years of age are only performed by a doctor. Please come for an appointment with a current diopter prescription and a doctor’s recommendation .
The optometrist performs the vision examination and lens application for young people from the age of 15. You can make an appointment online.
The optometrist will perform an examination on the DNEye® Scanner in his examination room, check the eyes on a slit lamp and exclude pathologies that would prevent the application and wearing of contact lenses. This examination is non-contact and no medications are used.
Contact lenses are selected with regard to the measured values of the eyes and the age of the wearer. There are several types of contact lenses, for children we prefer one-day lenses. We will always discuss your needs with you and agree on a suitable solution.
Before you take the lenses home, we will evaluate the correctness of the application. We will train everyone present on how to handle the lenses (how to put them in the eye and take them out) and how to care for the lenses. We will recommend the appropriate products and aidsto wear them comfortably.
After a week, we’ll invite you in for a check-up. At this visit, the wearer will come in with their contact lenses in. We will check that your eyes have adjusted to the contact lenses without any problems, that they fit well and that they do not bother your eyes. We are also interested in your feelings and satisfaction.
