Instructions for using sunglasses

Sunglasses protect your eyes from glare, weather and harmful UV rays.

100% UV protection. Compliant with EU Directive 2016/425 and in accordance with EN ISO 12312 – 1.

Restrictions on use:

Sunglasses are not a safety protection device, they are classified as simple personal protective equipment. Do not use the glasses for direct observation of the sun, in a solarium, for driving at night and in conditions of limited visibility. Use the goggles only for the purpose for which they are intended.

Maintenance and storage:

Always put on and take off your glasses with both hands. Never put your glasses down with the lenses facing down. If you do not have your glasses on, always store them in their case. Do not put your glasses at the bottom of your luggage. Do not dry clean spectacle lenses, always rinse them first with running water. Clean only with special microfibre or approved cleaning agents. Do not expose the lenses to excessive mechanical stress, liquids, chemicals or aggressive gases or to temperatures below ‑10°C and above 35°C.

What is polarization?

Sunlight reflecting off a horizontal surface, such as a road or a body of water, becomes horizontally polarised, which we perceive as an unpleasant glare. For the human eye, vertical light is useful, while glare impairs clear vision.

Non-polarising sunglasses don’t block glare, but polarising sunglasses block UV rays and glare so you can see more clearly and your eyes are protected from harmful radiation.
