Young Optic offers comprehensive care for children’s eyesight — from the first screening to the selection and service of glasses.

- screening for visual impairment in children (6 months — 5 years) using the Plusoptix device
- professional eye examination (from 15 years of age)
- selection and manufacture of children’s dioptric glasses
- children’s sunglasses with and without diopters
- contact lens applications for children and teenagers
- management of progressive myopia (myopia control in children)
- regular service of children’s glasses free of charge
We usually make glasses within 5 – 14 days.

Young Optic is not just children’s optics. We also specialise in adults with smaller or narrow faces who often find it difficult to find suitable glasses in mainstream opticians.
In our studio you will find a wide selection of small frames and all the services provided by other opticians Aleš Žejdl. There is also the DNEye Scanner for biometric vision measurement.

How long does it take to make glasses?

Není to nutné. Pro výběr brýlových obrub na kterékoli z našich poboček rezervaci termínu nepotřebujete. Stačí se zastavit kdykoliv během otevírací doby a naši optici se vám budou rádi věnovat.

Jaký je rozdíl mezi Plusoptixem a běžným očním vyšetřením u dětí?
Plusoptix se používá hlavně jako screeningový nástroj – zachytí podezřelé nálezy, ale nedává přesnou diagnózu. Měření je rychlé, bezkontaktní a určeno pro děti.
Oční vyšetření je komplexní a přesné vyšetření, které zahrnuje více metod a vyžaduje spolupráci pacienta. Výsledkem je stanovení refrakční vady a přesná diagnostika očních onemocnění.
