Kateřina Francová

After graduating from high school I graduated as an eye technician in Brno. Already during my studies, I was accompanied by practice in optics, which deepened my theoretical knowledge. In 2000, when the eye studio was opened, I was the only employee in the Hodonín branch besides Aleš Žejdel. Together we have been a team for more than 25 years. What I like about my work is the variety and the combination of several activities. Over the years, I have learned the complete process — from the selection of glasses and lenses, to their manufacture, adjustments/​repairs and their final issue to the customer. I am constantly expanding my knowledge by attending seminars, training courses and keeping up with current trends. The biggest reward for me is when customers come back and contact me with confidence. In my spare time, I enjoy folklore with my daughter, get my energy from dancing and calm my mind at the spa.
