My aunt introduced me to the field of optics during my high school studies, as she saw my potential for working with people. Her encouragement inspired me so much that after graduating from high school, I decided to study orthoptics at the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno, which I later supplemented with a bachelor’s degree in optometry at Palacký University in Olomouc.
Both fields gave me a solid foundation for working with clients, whom I now welcome at Aleš Žejdl Eye Studio, most often at the Young Optic branch.
What I like about my profession is that I can help people — whether with their vision or choosing glasses that highlight their personality. I spend my free time enjoying folklore, books, coffee, and good food.
